Three tests to tell them apart
- Red test. A true blue-red against a warm coral-red. Winter wears the blue-red; Spring wears the coral.
- Metal test. Silver against yellow gold. The Spring answer is gold even though both seasons can carry bright colors.
- Black test. Winter can wear black alone; on a Spring it needs breaking up with a warm colour or it wears the person.
