What is Swatch Fan?

Swatch Fan finds your color season from ten quick questions about your own coloring — your veins, your jewelry, your hair, your eyes and how you tan — with no selfie and no photo, so lighting and filters cannot move your result. You get the twelve colors that suit you, with hex codes, and the ones to avoid. Then you can point your camera at any top, dress or lipstick in a shop and it tells you whether that exact color is in your season before you buy it. It is a website, so there is nothing to install.

How does it find my season?

Ten quick yes-or-no questions about your jewelry, veins, hair, eyes and how colors sit on you. Together they read your undertone (warm, cool or neutral) and your depth (light or deep), and those two decide your season.

How does the color check work?

You tap a color in a photo. Swatch Fan measures it and compares it with the twelve colors in your season and with every other season, using the same color-distance math designers use. The photo stays on your phone.

Why do other apps give me different seasons?

They read color off a selfie, and light changes it: a lamp, a window or a filter can move you a whole season. We read what doesn't change: your jewelry, your veins, your hair, your eyes and how you tan. Same answers, same season. Every time.

Do I need a selfie?

No. Your season comes from your answers, so lighting and filters can't throw it off. The camera is only for checking clothes and makeup.
