What colors suit me?
No selfie. No photo. Your season comes from your answers, so lighting and filters can’t move it.
The colors that suit you are the ones that share your undertone and your depth. Warm skin suits golden colors, cool skin suits blue-based ones, and how light or deep your coloring is decides how strong those colors should be. Ten questions place you, and you get a palette with hex codes to keep.
Why some colors make you look tired
It is not the color, it is the mismatch. A shade with the opposite undertone to yours pulls the blood tones in your face forward, so you read sallow or ruddy — the same top in the right shade does the opposite. That is the whole of color analysis, and it is why an expensive top in the wrong color still looks wrong.
The three things that decide it
- Undertone
- Warm, cool or neutral. The single biggest factor, and the one people most often get wrong about themselves.
- Depth
- How light or deep your overall coloring is, which sets how strong your colors should be.
- Contrast
- The gap between your hair, skin and eyes, which decides whether you suit a bold pairing or a blended one.
